Takashi KurokawaHair Colourist Takashi was born in Tokyo, Japan. He began his successful career in hairdressing in 1999, working as an assistant at top Japanese salon Za’s, until 2000, when the travel bug hit him and he decided to move to London to expand on his creativity and knowledge of the industry. Takashi joined Daniel Galvin, where he extended his training as a junior colourist. By 2001, he was studying at Vidal Sassoon and experiencing first hand the colour and cutting tricks of the trade. Windle welcomed Takashi in 2002 when he joined as a Junior Colourist. His accuracy and talent for colour helped him to excel in his current role, and mean he's always in great demand by his clients. As well as Takashi’s passion for colour, he is also a huge fan of photography, which has become a great hobby and also strong creative medium: 'Just like hairdressing, it allows you to be innovative and the possibilities are endless’, he says. When Takashi is not colouring his clients' lustrous locks or on his laptop, he loves nothing better than a good movie. |
