Neil Moodie

Hair Stylist for Bumble and bumble

Neil began hairdressing in 1984 and entered the world of editorial styling in 1993, working with renowned photographer Corinne Day on a shoot for The Face magazine. He was then booked on his first shoot for Italian Vogue, followed in quick succession by an advertising campaign for Miu Miu.

Today, Neil works as a hair stylist with the biggest and brightest personalities in the fashion industry. His experimentation with various textures, and his trademark style of mixing contemporary, graphic elements with classic fundamentals has kept him in high demand. From photographers Paulo Roversi, Mario Testino and Juergen Teller, to celebrities Drew Barrymore, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johannsen and Demi Moore , and designers Armani, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Vivienne Westwood, Neil's list of clients is a mix of the coolest and most iconic names in popular culture. In the fashion runway arena, Neil also creates looks for designers including Just Cavalli, La Perla, Margaret Howell, Miss Sixty and Lacoste.

Neil is currently contracted worldwide as an editorial stylist for the hair product label Bumble & Bumble, and is the co-beauty editor of London's indie fashion/art magazine Wonderland, with make-up artist Lisa Butler. He also co-designs a range of avant garde hats known as Iconic Heads, which is an ongoing project with designer Flora McLean from House of Flora. These have exhibited worlwide and a website will launch in Autumn 2008.
